Doda, February 13: A 30-year-old man was found hanging from a tree under suspicious circumstances in the Mandir Mohalla area of Parshollah in Doda district on Friday, officials said.
According to officials, the deceased has been identified as Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Breswana in Tehsil Mohalla. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings under relevant sections of law, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
