Kashmir , Jan 16 : The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Crime Branch Kashmir has registered a case against an individual accused of cheating and defrauding people by falsely promising government jobs.
The case was registered after a written complaint was received at the EOW office in Srinagar. According to the complainants, the accused, a former police employee, allegedly collected around Rs 23 lakh from multiple victims by assuring them of government employment.
