JAMMU/SRINAGAR, JAN 09 : The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway has been thrown open on Friday for vehicular movement from both sides, with both light motor and heavy motor vehicles allowed to ply, officials said.
Authorities said traffic is moving normally along the highway, and vehicles are being allowed from both the Jammu and Srinagar ends as per schedule. Road conditions were reported to be stable, facilitating smooth movement of traffic.
Commuters have been advised to adhere to traffic regulations, avoid unnecessary halts, and follow instructions issued by traffic authorities to ensure safe and uninterrupted movement along the highway.Officials said traffic on the highway will continue to be monitored closely, and any changes will be communicated depending on weather and road conditions.
