Jammu: Absconder arrested after years by police
Jammu: The District Police Reasi apprehended one absconder, who was evading arrest since 2021.
The absconder namely Deepak Kumar S/o Thoru Ram R/o Laiter Tehsil Pouni, Distt Reasi absconding since 2021 in case FIR No. 42/2021 U/S 279/337/338 IPC 3/181 MV Act of Police Station Pouni has been arrested by Police party of P/S Pouni.
The arrest was made by a team led by SHO Pouni, Insp. Purab Singh under the supervision of DySP HQ Reasi, Neeraj Padyar.
The accused person was evading arrest by changing disguise and locations and couldn’t be apprehended since registration of Case FIR against him.
During investigation when a case was proved against the criminal & a chargesheet produced against him in court of law in the year 2021. Hon’ble Court of Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Reasi has issued a General Warrant of Arrest against him.
District Police Reasi has resolved to leave no stone unturned to put hardcore & long absconding criminals to justice by arresting & producing them before respective Hon’ble courts for judicial determination of their cases, trial under laid down procedure of the law of the land.
