Girl Student denied entry for being late in exam hall in Jammu

Jammu:
A girl student has alleged that she was denied entry for being late in the exam hall at Kalauchak in Jammu, however she has accused exam conducting authority of permitting a boy candidate who also arrived late at the paper hall.

 

“My exam centre for CUET exam came here and the paper’s timing was 11:45am but at 12:03pm we arrived here”, the girl student said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

“They allowed a boy candidate from the other gate but not me I pleaded them several times but nobody paid heed”, she alleged.

“An uncle who was going inside the exam hall told me to write e-mails to NTA regarding the issue but he didn’t promised any assurance”, she accused.

“They permitted a boy in the exam hall infront of us but not us, some exam staff is sleeping, some are talking”, Girl’s father allegedly said.

“When I attended the CUET exam last year I arrived at the exam centre at 11:30am and they let us in at 12:30pm & our exam began at 1pm and concluded at 3pm”, she said.

“My whole year will get waste. I have opted for physics, english and biology. They have said that in next shift I will be allowed to sit in the exam”, she added.

“Everybody wants to study in good college and my future is at stake. We told them we will call media they don’t have manners to talk”, she asserted.

“My father has a private job how he will manage to send me to private colleges”, she remarked.
