Samba, December 3, 2022: A big move to attack the drug smuggling in Jammu, the Vijaypur police on Saturday arrested a wanted drug smuggler and seized 50grams of Herion worth Rs two lakhs.
As per report, the police working on the inputs which they got from a reliable source deployed a police posse and laid a naka near AIIMS in Vijaypur, Samba and during the search a person namely Mohammad Ismail alias Bachu s/o Lal Hussain resident of Rakh Barotian in Vijaypur was detained and 50grams of herion was recovered from his possession.

The police has booked him under Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS) in Vijaypur police station and he is being investigated by them.
