Jammu, Nov 29: In a daring act, several thievesĀ  at Bari Brahmana Bazar located under flyover in Samba, Jammu burgled four shops last night. The shopkeepers were shocked to see so many shops burgled in a single night.

As per the report, the robbery took place when some burglars robbed at least four shops by breaking their locks, damaging the CCTV cameras installed over them and decamped with cash & goods, yesterday’s night at Bari Brahmana in Samba, Jammu.

A shopkeeper, whose shop was robbed allegedly said that in the morning when he came to open his shop he was baffled to saw that its shutter was half opened.

“When I saw our shop’s shutter half-opened, I called my father who advised me to inform police. They have stole cash from our shop approximately around 10,000Ā  and cigarette packs worth of rupees 30,000. They have also stolen goods from here. They have robbed also those things from our shop, which they could take “, he said.

He further said that there was police vehicle parked few meters away from his shop under the flyover, where the burglary happened.

Another shopkeeper said that his shop was also looted by the miscreants and after breaking his shops locks, the robbers threw them in a nearby street.

“They have damaged the CCTV cameras installed on the top of my shop, so that their felony could not be filmed. This is the second time that my shop was targeted by the miscreants as two years ago they carried out theft in my shop and that time I submitted CCTV footage of the crime to police, but they didn’t did anything. I will again submit my CCTV footage so that they can identify the perpetrators, who robbed me”, he added.

We appeal SHO sir to take cognizance of this matter and detain the perpetrators.
