A paramilitary trooper yesterday shot himself dead with his service rifle and attained martyrdom in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official said that a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel shot himself with his service rifle in Dignibal area of Ganderbal yesterday’s evening, resulting in his on spot death.
He said that the reason of him taking this extreme step was not immediately known.
