Udhampur, 30 August, 2022: Today in continuation of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations theĀ  Archaeological Survey of India, Srinagar Circle
organized a function at the historical Group of Temples, Kiramchi, a Centrally protected Monument under the jurisdiction of ASI Srinagar Circle.

District Commissioner Kritika JyotsnaĀ  being felicitated during the occasion in Udhampur.

During the function, Mast national flag was unfurled within the premises of the Group of temples, Kiramchi. The mast flag ceremony was in continuation of the celebrations, Ministry of Culture to unfurl mast flags at different monuments across India as part of ‘Azadika Amrit Mahotsav’ (AKAM), as per the report.

Archaeological Survey of India being a part of Ministry of Culture has already unfurled mast flags at Akhnoor Fort inĀ  Jammu and ancient Palaces attributed to Raja Suchet Singh, Udhampur on 15th of August.

While District Commissioner, Udhampur Kritika JyotsnaĀ  wasĀ  presided the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The event was held under the supervision of Dr. I.A. Hashmi, Superintending Archaeologist, ASI Srinagar Circle assisted byĀ  G.A. Khan, Asst. Engineer, Rajesh Bakshi, Photo Officer,Ā  Jai Karan Singh,Ā  S.K. Bhat and other staff members of the ASI Srinagar Circle.
