Samba, 15 August: In an untoward incident reported from the Khada Maidan , Purmandal area of Samba a car washed away down the waterlogged drain due to rise in water.
The horrendous incident occurred when the car driver was trying to cross the waterlogged drain and when he reached in the midway his car got stuck, he then abandoned it there sensing the might of the water currents and fortunately pulled out the fellow passengers in-time from the spot, leaving the car there.

Later a crane was called on the scene to pull the out the flowing car but it failed to recover it because of the might of high water currents in the drain.
