“In 2010, when the Prime minister package was implemented I also got employed under that package, since then we have been agitating and demanding the re-location of the Prime minister package employees to the Jammu region but the former regimes paid no heed to this matter. The PM package has employed 6,000 people so far and the majority of our community is settled in the Jammu division as we feel more secure here and there is a complete breach of trust among the employees to work there in Kashmir. We strongly demand the transfer of all the PM package employees to the various departments in the Jammu district so that we can be saved from getting killed in Kashmir”, said one of the protestors.

“We want the present government to separate the Prime minister employment package from the Rehabilitation scheme,” he added further.

Sushant Dhar another protestor allegedly said that it’s been 43 days since they are protesting against the target killings and relocation to the Jammu region and today marks their eight day of the demonstration in the Relief commissioner office, while 18 Hindus have been murdered by the terrorists so far in the Kashmir region.

They urged the present BJP government to take a corrective action in this matter and transfer them to Jammu.
