Tightening the noose on bovine smugglers Lakhanpur police today arrested some cattle smugglers near Jammu Lakhanpur highway.
While foiling the bovine smuggling bid the police officials intercepted a truck bearing number JK03D7019 which at first appeared to be carrying tomatoes but after through investigation around 15 bovines were found inside the truck . The cattles were later safely rescued by the police officials. The smugglers were nabbed and booked under relevant sections of the law.
