J&K Police said that in a bid to curb stunt biking nuisance and save precious lives, Jammu Police arrested three stunt bikers, who were performing dangerous stunts, scaring other road users on national highway in the area under Jurisdiction of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.

Police spokesperson said, “An information was received at PS Jhajjar Kotli regarding some persons performing stunts on motorcycles and riding their in rash and negligent manner.”

“Acting swiftly a special police team of PS Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO PS Jhajjar Kotli Inspr Vikram Sharma reached the said place and finally arrested the persons and seized their bikes.”

Police spokesperson said that vehicles seized and persons arrested are Motorcycle Enfield Classic 350 bearing regd. no. JK02CD/5976 driven by Vishal kumar S/O Jagdish Raj alongwith Pillion Rider Sunil Kumar S/O Joginder Pal both R/O Bari Brahmana; motorcycle Apache bearing registration no. JK02CA/6342 driven by rider namely Sandeep Kunjlana S/O Israil R/O Bari brahmana alongwith pillion rider namely Ravi Kumar S/O Ram Saran R/O Baba Farid Nagar Seora and motorcycle Yamaha version 3 without registration no. driven by Sunil Kumar S/O Bodh Raj R/O Rajpura Bakshi Nagar Jammu.

“Accordingly a Case FIR No.105/2022 U/S 279/336 IPC, case FIR No.106/2022 U/S 279/336 IPC, case FIR No.107/2022 U/S 279/336 IPC stands registered in P/S Jhajjar Kotli and further investigation of the case is going on,” police added.
