On Monday evening, a brick kiln worker and her two children were killed in a cloudburst in Budgam. All three are said to be residents of Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. Police said that the three were working at the kiln when the cloud burst. In this, all three died on the spot due to being buried in the debris. Workers at the kiln pulled all three out of the rubble, but they had died by then.

Meanwhile, on Monday, at least three dozen houses and structures were damaged due to the storm across Kashmir. However, there is no news of any casualty in this. Roads were blocked in many areas due to falling trees on the road. The roofs of many houses have been blown away. At the same time, strong winds blew in Jammu, and it rained with thunder. Hail also fell.

The day’s maximum temperature was recorded in Srinagar at 30.4 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Center Srinagar, there may be rain in many areas in the Kashmir division in the next 24 hours. However, there is a possibility of rain only in some areas of the Jammu division.

In many districts of the Jammu division, there has been a relief from the heat due to heavy rain and hailstorm on Monday evening. However, at the same time, people, including two-wheeler drivers, have faced problems. Along with Jammu city, Akhnoor, RS Pura, and Rajouri districts have also received heavy hailstorms. Due to this, the temperature has dropped, while the weather has become pleasant.
