Advance registration for Shri Baba Amarnath Yatra will start on Monday. The Yatra of Baba Amarnath starts on 30th June and will end on 11th August on the day of Raksha Bandhan. The registration is being done in 566 branches of Punjab National Bank, Jammu Kashmir Bank, and Yes Bank. Arrangements have been made to make health certificates in hospitals. The board has released the list of authorized doctors and hospitals on its website. Children below 13 years of age and those above 75 will not be registered for Shri Baba Amarnath Yatra.
The devotees who had registered for the year 2021 Yatra and had not got their fees refunded would visit the branch of the concerned bank and fill up the new application form. He will return his old original travel permit, and he will have to submit the new registration application form. Along with the necessary certificates will have to be attached. Their fees will be adjusted. Four photographs are required for registration. The pilgrims will be allowed to travel for the Baltal or Pahalgam route.
Travel permits of different colours will be available for travelling on different days to Pahalgam and Baltal. However, 120 will be charged per passenger. Passengers who have crossed the age limit of 75 years this year, intending to travel last year, will not be allowed to travel. Registration will occur in 16 branches of banks in Jammu and Kashmir, including Pul Doda branch of Jammu Kashmir Bank in Doda district, Punjab National Bank at Akhnoor Jammu district, Punjab National Bank in Rihari Jammu, Jammu Kashmir Bank in Bakshi Nagar, Jammu and Kashmir in Gandhinagar. Bank, TRC Jammu includes Jammu Kashmir Bank.
Apart from this, Punjab National Bank at College Road in Kathua, J&K Bank in Billawar, J&K Bank in Poonch, J&K Bank Ramban in Ramban District, J&K Bank Jawahar Nagar in Rajouri District, Punjab National Bank at Katra in Reasi District, Reasi Main Market includes Punjab National Bank, Punjab National Bank on National Highway in Samba, Jammu Kashmir Karan Nagar in Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir Bank Shakti Nagar branch in Udhampur. Baba Amarnath’s Yatra was postponed for two years due to Corona. However, many devotees are expected to attend the Yatra, which is going to be held after a gap of two years.
